trouble orienting photos

I am trying to re-post the photos that uploaded in the wrong orientation. I have tried saving the files (in Preview) in the correct orientation, I have tried cropping the photos so they are squarer, I have tried reducing the size of the files, and combinations of the above, but I still can not get the photos to orient properly when uploaded. I have attached the photos for reference.
